My KG lefty, long overdue project

Post by Bratjie »

Well I have had this car for far too long now, just hanging round, was almost sold, turned into a race car, v8 midmounted but luckily I decided that she needs to be put back on the road, Now this is no special KG but a KG none the less, yes  she was chopped, front and rear from different years I presume but those that dont know them will be none the wiser. she's going to look pretty awesome. I have a nice powerplant lined up for her from a good friend on the forum but that will remain hush hush for now.
Planning a neat retro look, nothing fancy or wild like my turbo bug, but something that I can act my age in :D . A nice bit of stance, all the original stuff I can keep on it but with the exception of a nice cobalt / deep blue, with a good few clearcoats with one layer clearcoat with a special pearl mix in it to give it a nice shine in the sun. Roof either Gunmetal or ruby red with a special 9ct Gold pinstripe in it. Original clocks and interior. Mags would be nice but I'll stick to the steelies for now, still need a few small parts like headlights, tail lights, door striker , w/winder and a l/rear window but I'm pretty sure that will come along when least expected.
