Ps I have seat sliders for those seats if u want my buggy had them when I got it but the seat frames were so rusted I tossed them but kept the rails

A small update on what we been busy with now that its getting warmer again. Started having a look at the wiring. Luckily my dad knows his way around this kinda stuff(electrical engineer). Anyways the tonsil that wired the car before somehow managed to cross wires, there are about twenty joints running from the front to the back and not one uses the same colour wire. As u can imagine, its been a nightmare figuring it out. Finally this sunday we got it right and fixed the problem of the brake light being permanently on. So definitely after a respray we will rewire the lights and clean it up. We also managed to get the car started but noticed quite a bad leak coming from the petrol pipe that leads into carborator. We replaced it and the put a new ring to tighten it but still leaks. Anybody have some advice on what we can do?

Buy a fire extinguisher...

Maybe the fuel pipe has perished with time, you could try replacing it with a smaller pipe that fits snug
.....or just cut the end off
