I think they are cool as ##& , but I suspect you are creating the "perfect storm" for rust with them on.
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

I think those rat's ears are the coolest example of boer maak 'n plan and are part of what makes that bus what it is. I would keep them, but it's not my bus ...

If I had not bumped the one off, they would still be on there, but I am really undecided now.
I agree its part of the history, but damn they are so ugly.
