Sean you know the feeling when you find one lying around

Just want to get the bus running for easier moving around - Farm shed is getting a bit full

So then the answer is no not sidetracked -

Cleaned up a mates yard on Sunday and got a cool work bench for my efforts
A pop in at GrandSlam yesterday found a rear quater lying in the skip

Think it makes a good storage box on the new work bench

Or stabbing an assailant
plugs oils and brake fluid

Also seems someone very clever stashed the cover strips for die ingeboude kaste

Well got the engine from the bug in this weekend
One snag was the dreaded OH Sh!!!!!!t were did the accelerator cable go - seems bellhousings like hiding them
A bit of huffing and puffing to get the cable out
Hooked up static timmed and fired the bugger up

Some small tuning but motor running good

Apart from the obvios loose front end bits gearbox all good ,cvs fine apart from busted booties
Brakes sort of there after some pomping

Anyhow drove the Westy round the farm and off to the house
Next project is to move all my stuff out the farm shed and make a work zone down at the house
Seems the Boss wants his shed back
Luckely some spare roof sheets and metal lying about
Just need to move the Wendy house and dig a bit

I think the boss has cottoned on to this illegal VW factory on his farm. And he is paying staff to fix VW's instead of picking apples.

Update
Joe has been phoning me to come round and help clean out a shed that he is renting as it seems his health has taken a turn for the worse

Back that side of the hill today to collect some crates for the chickens so we pop in

Chat for a while - Joe says he is really not well as he has not been for a surf for a month :hangloose:
Got some meds and is doing alright -quack can't quite tell him what is wrong
he just says he is getting old
Head off to a smallholding up in Sir Lowreys village
Major score - 3 engines - tins -carbs etc etc
best of the bunch -complete front screen and the rear bumper
Other smalls like regs - mirrors - visors

The legend did not want any money -but I managed to force some in his hand

Will try and sort out and hit some snaps
Seems the new shed down at the house is getting a bit small - neeed an extention
from what i can rember 2 twin ports and 1 single
later
