Oil leak was a broken CV boot .. I replaced both and put new hose clamps ..
Now she doesn't leak just has the odd sweating ..
Anyone aware of a place that has long wheel bolts = for beetles with mags (steel mags )..
Maybe 2 rear brake drums too

Wife has recovered .. But I don't think she'll join me too soon..

Two wires rubbing togther in the bonnet where the "spagetti " of wiring was ..caused the fire
I need to get the rat to an autolec..
Keep it real, keep it aircooled....

Ok ...
Found 20 bolts at Autostyle .. Way too long but I cut them to the right length with a laithe ..
Replace both rear lights.. And repaired the fendef .. Looks like before ...
Took he to cars in the park last week and she drove like a dream ..
Just need to get wiring sorted ..

Sadly I'm in a pickle due to broken promises at work leaving me in a financial situation
I am going to need to sell her ..
Anyone know of a person lopking for a good fun Baja ..
Her interior will be next (seats) to do ..
And if I sell her quickly the wiring needs doing .. If I don't sell her soon I will do this

I need to recover what I've spent which is around 33k
Keep it real, keep it aircooled....
