Earlybay Bus at Pretoria Dealer.

Post by yohbie »

Spotted this bus in Pretoria on 03 February 2013. Looks very good and original. It had a cote of new paint sometime in its life only made evident by the paint on some of the rubbers though.

It was not priced...

Yeah, saw it also saturday afternoon driving past, and took a closer look. Still has a Rally radio fitted.

Was repainted at some stage. Looks very original indeed - but looks like a Type 4 engine of sorts in there - doesnt look like a 1600.

Just spoke to Zeno Venter at Amico Motors (http://www.amicomotors.co.za/frame-contact.htm ).

It is a 72 model, looks like three previous owners, from an estate. He drove it from Polokwane without a hitch.

He says his mechanic says it is a 2,1-litre motor...

He would like R40 000 for the car.
My naam is Réhann en ek is 'n Volksie-fan!
