Good work there
Just a quick question, how do you know it is a salamanda and not a kestrel
I have the same shape as your salamanda, only thing is that mine is a swb and does not have the back canopy but has the front windscreen.

Re: salamander beach buggy build
Salamander kit is really good looking (I have one too
) the only thing that annoys me about he kit is the low front windscreen. make sure you mount the driver seat low enough in order for you not to have to duck to see properly where you going (like I have to
, haven’t got to sorting mine out yet)

Re: salamander beach buggy build
yeah i noticed the windscreen issue too im gonna have to think twice as to what seats to use in it i wanted to use the same seats i have in my kango now, but i am worried about the height issue, other than that i realy like the body, i wanna try mount the headlights on the fenders, not really a fan on them on the bull bar, still cant decide what colour to paint her (the gf insists it has to be kept yellow) kinda keen on yellow but needs to have a twist

Yeah I dont like the lights on the front bars either but...Will try a different set of chrome lights and hopefully get it to look better

Re: salamander beach buggy build
I was thinking of giving the windscreen and bonnet unit a bit of a lift to get better eye view on the road, but then I need to do something to the "kappie" all so.
For the lights, I have chrome 4x4 spots. made small elbow brackets to fit to the front of the fenders and swap the lenses with golf spotlights so I have dim and bright.
