Re: Buggies
Nice pictures. Is that a new trend with buggies... looks like a larger version of a "bicycle carrier tray" at the rear? (The type that attached to a bicycle to carry some goods like a school bag).
And who was passing who at the time?
By the way, i also drove back that same route on Wednesday, also by white baywindow.

Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.

They were all driving a little slow, so I passed them.Dawie wrote:Nice pictures. Is that a new trend with buggies... looks like a larger version of a "bicycle carrier tray" at the rear? (The type that attached to a bicycle to carry some goods like a school bag).

How did you know I was driving my white Baywindow, it could have been the green one?

Sorted the spark plug out quite some time ago. I was in my white bus though...Dawie wrote:I thought the green one's spark plug was still blown out?

No details on the carriers, they looked quite home made to me, that's all I could see.

Re: Buggies
Those carriers are built and designed by a buggy owner in Ceres.

Re: Buggies
The carriers are homemade (me and my dad built the one for 2 of the buggies) for the 7 day adventure we went on. Came in quite handy, as I took along some unnecessary SH!T, and didn't want to tow a trailer.
It had more than enough space to hold the tent, 2x chairs, crate with food/braai utensils and odd stuff and coolerbag.
Made so that it can be easily removed when not going on a long trip.
The blue buggy on the last image is mine. I have since installed new tyres as the wide fat ones just didn't do it for me anymore
Pics of new tyres and carrier can be seen from the link below, currently busy stripping the buggy down to repaint and overall cleanup
Wanted to created a thread on here for some information and overall help, will do it later today and add the images.
