I though I will post some pic of my progress on my Single cab.

I got the Enjin today form VintageVW. I think it look pretty sweet.

I got the seats from the upholsterer, the real genuine fake elephant leather with red stitching? GTI look alike?

Hi all

Vintage VW specialises in restoring 1192cc motors to original condition. I will have a motor on show at Cars in the park in August. Also looking after a few classic vw's like the Fastback that needed an exhaust in the wanted section. Currently working on Didi's KG. Other aircooled vw's also welcome. Our workshop is in Pta East.

Eddy's SC motor is the standard 1600 twinport, balanced, with gasflowed heads. Twin Solex 41 carbs fed by an electronic fuel pump. Ignition supplied by Bosch 009 distributor. Tinware is a mix of gloss black and chrome. With other chrome bits added for show and a neat aluminium pulley with timing marks to round off.

Those carbs are Solex/Brosol 40/44EIS also better known as Kadrons, super carbs on a aircooled motor. Made in Brazil for Empi.
