Hey guys! So picked up a steal!

Fully licensed and on the road. Needs a engine rebuild but otherwise its good!

Interior has been redone, new carpets and rubbers.

Needs a good respray but only minor rust

So the start of a third project! Lets go!

Seems like a bit of a hybrid! Rear looks like a 1969, front a 75/76, Steering wheel post 1970?

But appears to be a very nice project. Good luck and keep us posted on the progress. :hangloose:

Haha well there's a story behind that...

The current owner fitted relatively large tyres to the back. So it sat fine when his daughter was driving it. One day he loaded the beetle with tools and some other heavy equipment and the fenders started to cut into the tyres... so not wanting to destroy the tyres he hacked the fenders.... :-o

So at least the tyres survived

So need new fenders...
