That's great. The colour of the bus in the first picture is the same colour that I kept finding as the original paint on mine. It always ended up back at matt drab green. If anyone finds any old splitscreen army bus picture I would love to see them. I will upload a couple of pictures of my bus as it is now. It's a little bit nicer than when the army had it.

Thanks for the correction Bernard, I thought the olive green was its original colour. Strike one from my list of ex-army buses. :hangloose:
I saw this bus in Newcastle original color under the blue was that army color. Fig you can unscratch it. :twisted:

As far as I know, the Army paint colour has not changed from the Splity time to the Bedford time, so if you find the paint formulation for the old Bedfords (round nose) you have the correct shade.
By the way, the paint was matt, and you could not get it to shine with polish, it stayed matt. (for non reflectivity)
