When I saw this picture for the first time, in one of my VW books, I wanted an Early Bay Westy. I was gonna make just as this one.

got the color, had a panel sprayed but the finished product was not to my liking. I wanted a VW color but it had to be different. I then decided on Oman Beige. See for yourself.

After this, rather uncalled for jinx, I am happy to announce some progress was made....only 25 odd months down the line!!!
I cannot believe it's been that long...this is supposed to happen only when you're having fun. Be that as it may, got it back from upholsterer and here's some pics. :hangloose:

Now I just want to fit all the windows and sort the brakes...maybe some disks...and then decide what mill I'll be fitting.
