1901 Benz:
It was being towed there by a beach-buggy. The owner says that he has already towed that car/ trailer thousands of kilos with that buggy.
The Benz's engine:
18something Benz tricycle: (Apparently a replica of first Benz ever):
Benz tricycle's engine: (Note horizontal flywheel):
This Benz was not on display. It was inside a large van that arrived to pick up the oldest Benz tricycle. The owner of the 1901 Benz ran to the van in excitement to have a look, as the car inside is also older than his 1901. So i took a photo through the door:
Some later Merc:
DKW's:
DKW engine: no distributor, no waterpump, no oilpump, no valves, radiator lives at firewall side of engine. So no heater core needed. Hot air for interior comes from radiator. Thermosyphon cooling system. The hotter the water gets, the faster it circulates, like a solar geyser. (Seems the owner lost his middle plug's connector on the way):
Some ancient British car:
Something American:
And That's all for now, bye!
