Perhaps not worth a lot, yet still interesting - I found this old Formula Vee cloth badge at Piston Ring yesterday - think it dates back to the early 80's
Splitbusaholic... hey dude... I just had a closer look at your gauge and initially thought the needle was broken off... After enlarging the pic all looks fine as it mounts at the bottom of the gauge. Try hooking it up and and see if it works... only problem I see is that its not resting on the left hand side and looks as if it moves freely along...
They're actually replica's of the original that a friend of a friend shipped back from London
in the 90s. They look perfect and are in great condition.

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.
an old friend told me last week he had some beetle parts from when he had a beetle or 2 that he wanted to get rid of. he brought them to me last night.

Hi,
I was told a while back by my sister in law's husband that on their family farm they had old vw's rotting in the veld, so i asked him to take pictures when he goes there again. This is what he sent me.
2 single cab bakkies!
This is where the good news comes in! I asked him what he wanted for them and told me he has no use for them and that can just come pick them up!
Now i need to make plans to get them, they are on a farm close to Reddersburg in the Free State!
Amazing find. One wonders just how many more of these there are out there!?
Decide where you stand ... then stand there!
'62 Beetle (ongoing restoration)
'64 Split Panelvan (a 'one day if I retire' project)
'71 Bay Single Cab (motor built by TonyZ)
'71 Bay Double Cab (workhorse)
Wow man ! Amazing !!!!!
I thought the white one was a Fleetline until I saw the bullet indicator lens mounting. Does the blue one have safari windows?
Thanks for sharing, keep us updated - any more photos ?
You must get them asap ................
