HW3

Post by Pine »

I've always wanted a Baja, and when this one of Kobus from the VW Sport Club came up for sale a few months ago we agreed on a price that we both were comfortable with, and I bought it. Wanted to take it to Fig's weekend but since it was stolen (and recovered) a few years ago there was some issues with the paperwork,so I only took delivery of it after the KKK. I've used eversince it for a few trips to the grocery store and back, but decided to stretch its legs today. Did almost 350 kms, including some gravel road driving - with no problems! Picked up some buggy seats in Lindequesdrift and stopped for a quick beer at Fig. (Thanks for the cold one, F & G! :drunks: )

The body is not in a very good condition, but I will drive it as is for the time being till HW2 is completed. No further plans for it at the moment 8)
