nice bus guy
but, personally (no offence), if it was mine, i would lose the wide load panels and put the others that go with the sides of the bus (like the one in your profile pic).

Wide Body
It's look like a builders bakkie with the wide body... But you don't see them like this anymore... and a Beetle fit on the back of it!!!

Yes, the Fleetline wide bak is ugly. But it's also a super rare configuration, and very useful. I'd be happier if people who want to "lose the wide load" bed would rather keep looking for a German bus or one with a completely rusted wide bak and save the few remaining good ones to people who can appreciate them.MINCE wrote:nice bus guy

One day Fleetlines will be appreciated for what they are and valued accordingly, but by then there will be very few survivors. Fleetline Kombis and panelvans were far more plentiful than the bakkies, and there were only about 5,000 of all types made between 1/75 and 3/76.
If anyone else wants to lose their wide bak, let me know and I'll come and fetch it.

I came across a guy once who wanted to make a braai...so he took off a s/c gate and hacked it up for that purpose.
I had to hold back a LOT to avoid beating the Sh*t out of him.

So you're compairing converting a widebody to a normal width one to hacking up a side gate and making a braai???Merlin wrote:I came across a guy once who wanted to make a braai...so he took off a s/c gate and hacked it up for that purpose.
