I am going to try and get photo's tomorrow, and a list of available sizes.

I found a little textiles store who managed to buy a bale of old audi/vw factory dustcoats/trousers.

They are khaki in color, with either vw or audi logo on the chest.

Anybody interrested? PM if I can organise some for you guys, I am going to puchase 2 for me if they have my size..... they really neat and it blends with my car's paintjob.

Sorry for the Edit. There were some Daimler/Mercedes coats as well previously. If anyone is interrested in those.
I'm interested in VW and merc ones please...

Ok, they do have some of those VW Overalls left. Its at the E.V.Krull factory shop on the KWT road outside East London. No big sizes left,

If anybody has a design or layout for perhaps a Wolfsburg Factory Overall, the lady there offered to get me one made in my size, they could actually make it in any design as long as I account for the material used. I thougth maybe there could be some idea for the club, (Club Overalls or Workshop jackets, or something.)

My 'SCORE' contribution for today - the better one might end up on HW2, or perhaps even here (up for grabs)

I remembered a camping trip, back in the early 90's where my brother in-law had a "kombi" tent and asked if he still had it. And now it is kit in Paul's bus! Mostly complete, just a pole or two for the verandah's.

Im with Fig on this one...Lots of character, and after the WESTY tents, quite desirable to boot!

I especially like the Kombi junior tents, as they are smaller than most other kombi type tents as its lighter and easier to erect!

Great find Rob!

Empi manifolds for Weber 48 IDA

Post by syncromad »

Hi All

i was a one of my parts suppliers today, he was big into Vw's in the 60's and 70's, as i am about to leave he pulls out a box with brand new genuine Empi Manifolds in it. he says he bought them in the late 60's and never used them, complete with Linkages, pipes etc, now i just need the Webers and a nice motor to fit them to.
