Parts to build 3 vehicles (More pics added)

Post by VW-rules »

A local chap has asked me to try and sell some bits and pieces which he's accumulated.

He has striped out +- 10 Beetles, thrown away the bodies, and has kept probably enough bits for six bugs (gearbox, engines, lights, door handles, rims, glass, etc.)

There are also enough bits to build up and early Blue Bay Bus (supposedly has scraped papers) an Green Aqua bug and a Yellow Krestel Buggy.

He is looking to dump everything in one shot. For those who don't understand what that means. You make an offer on everything or nothing. The stuff is on a farm between King Williams town and Stutterhiem.

If anyone is interested, post your offer and I'll pass it on to him.

I was wondering what that was. I bet that alone is worth quite a bit.

Now this is where the interested forum members get together and save a bay and a haul of goods instead of a UK-quarter-of-a-million-Rand bus that still needs importing... Not that I fault you for trying, but I suggest you try organising this first... I mean, one OK says he don't have the money before a price is even mentioned. No offence, but who knows, you might get it for a the deposit on Coke bottle...

Organising on this forum, I have seen a few times already, is like herding cats.

The Bay looks good - what kind of money do you think he will take for the lot?

Guess im saying that this could go two ways...cheap or dear

I've spoken to the owner twice and sms him for an idea of what he expects and every time he says he'll get back to me but doesn't. (Apparently he has a real good offer on the aqua bug and is waiting for a final on that.)
