You can fit that engine without major hassles
The flywheel needs to be changed to a 411 one
the tin needs trimming for a neater installation
the bus manifolds are to long to fit under the deck and a spacer needs manufacturing or find 411 station wagon parts with shorty manifolds
you need some wiring changes to fit the alternator
the fuel pump needs to be blocked off and an electric pump fitted
you need one of my IMPI adaptors to fit the bellows at the rear
the oil filler needs small mods
the exhaust does not fit with certain heat exchangers Late vanagon style
the heaters wont line up
You can Phone me for further info around 19h00 week nights

Bingo........the mods to get it to work in a beetle are not too much and you;ll forget about it once you feel the torque.

I have some short manifolds available, for twin Solex carburettors, originating from a 1980~83 VW 2000 Type 25 (i.e. Vanagon or T3) Kombi.
