Wow Sarel, that looks like new! It's the early 60s version like mine.

What size is the small spanner? 7x8 or 7x9? I found a hazet 450 6x7 at Vaal ou Wiele as a placeholder until I find the correct missing one from my set.

It is there :) integrated with the Lugwrench, you slide the handle down the shaft to expose it :hangloose: will take a picture and post it up.

Frank, I've never heard of a reference to the wire hubcap tool in the round toolboxes. It would have been redundant because, as Sarel says, the hubcap tool is built in to the handle of the wheel spanner (check yours out!). Also, everything in those boxes has its place and its own hold-down tabs; it seems very untidy and unGerman to have a loose tool in there.

Nope, original Hazet, they made 4 varieties in total, one had the plastic handle. :)

Hi guys

I just picked up a mint NOS in the box Motometer electronic Ammeter in the rare 40mm size. These were offered as an optional accessory for early 356's and split / Oval bugs. They were usually mounted on the steering column in an oh so sexy gauge holder.

Now just to find the other NOS gauge to complete the set up...

Check links here... did not buy off the Samab, just used links a I cant add pics either...
