It is from a 1961 Healey Sprite.

I am mounting it directly to the cage trough home made brackets.




With the 2 halves of the hood in place you can se by how much I had to widen the front of the body.

It opens to bypass the exhaust gas when the desired turbo boost is reached.
It is internal in most oem applications but becomes external when you use big aftermarket turbos.
I actually like the fact that it is sticking out.
