Was busy the last few days. So here is what happened. back from panel shop. Clean the car again. Fitted the parcell tray Fitted all those dashboard lights and wires, struggle with indicator warning(pilot)lights. It was the flasher unit that is aftermarket and needed an earth wire to work. It is working now. Tail lights also working now. Interior lights 4 of them working. Put back the speedo cable, had to remove the belly pan to do that, Discover it was at some stage home to a mouse. Not back yet. Need a few self tappers and paint. Fitted the rubbers I had for the bus need more. Fit a left side mirror. Put back the interior upholstry and new curtains, here's a few pics.
As it arrived at my house.

There are still a few things to do. Oil leak is the most important of the lot.And the brake light on the on side, think the problem is at the indicator switch. And a couple of small things.

O yes, that small mirror makes a big difference.
Took the Westy and family out tonight, to the spur behaved fair.

Took it for a20 km drive to work today. Now for the way back home. Seems there is a dry connection somewhere with the starting. :? . 60 miles on the flat seems good for the engine didnt try to drive it too hard. Uphill a bit faster then the blue one. :). Van Reenen here we come.

HR There is a rubber on the bonnet all the way around. Engine there is just on the bottom half.

The bonnet got also draining pipes in the corners for water to drain out of the body grooves and not into the spare well.

Got back home safely without problem. Think about CITP Pta.

Thanks

I took out the engine on Saterday replace seals on oil cooler engine back. Wha t job to loosen those three(2) nuts on the block. Still leaking oil have to look at the push rods, but it will be with the engine in place.

Took it today to get carpets for the front and the back.

Still need to sort the back lights out.
