I must say I've seen a couple buggies in my Life. We have nothing to be shy about in SA. We got some hot buggies.
And it's a good why to Save a beetle when they die. Just don't make a baja from them...
After I've seen a Oval baja... I still can't sleep...

...Pine hasn't learnt you see.
The 'hack' was passed on, the new owner 'forgot' it ever existed, and now? ...now he's just dumped himself in the doodie by telling us this horrific story.
His last possible saving grace is whether or not he actually paid for the thing.
Now, Pine, dear boy, did you or did you not pay for this atrocity?

The circle is complete!
But my Buggy STAYS a Buggy, OK?
(The guy I bought my Buggy from built it in 1971, from - in his own words - 'one of those old Beetles with the small window at the back'.)
When I got it, it indedd had an oval steering wheel, speedometer, front suspension and fuse box - the chassis was too far gone to get a number. When I rebuilt it, only the body, window frame and seats were kept from the original car.

Re: Love Buggies
What happened to the Oval Baja that no longer is an Oval Baja??
If it's too low, you're too old
