Last month I posted these pics I took at Angela's Picnic of a VW-based MG Replica (couldn't find the thread). Yesterday I found out that it is actually a Brazilian-built car, called the MP Lafer, AND it was used in the James Bond movie Moonraker.

No 50 of the James Bond Car Collection - a white MP Lafer with a seatcover behind the wheel - is still available at a CNA near you till the end of this week, at R 120 - got mine today. Not my piece of cake though, but I doub't that you will easily find another model of a VW-based fibreglass car again soon? Since the diorama with the car is set in Rio, you can actually see no less than 3 Beetles parked in the background of the model!
