The Slut: '74 Bay DC

Post by sarel.wagner »

Another new project, this is a slow one, low budget, as thye budget has already been spent on getting working and parking space created, as well as on the '67 Beetle Konzept project. Pictures to folow.

Its called the Slut :finger4u: , see: http://www.aircooledvwsa.co.za/viewtopi ... =3&t=16780

Die slet moet werk, sy verdien haar geld ;)
Slut working.jpg
Fixed the rear lights, earth missing. Headlights still not working. She is as loose as a ... slut?!?! Sjeez, needs a lot of attention, also running rough and very rich.

The Slut: '74 Bay DC - Will ride again!

Post by Madbones »

For those of you that have used, abused and generally had a good time with her some good and bad news.
The bad news is she is up on blocks getting a full going over. A very tired and worn DC but huge potential.
The good news is with a little TLC and lotsa hard work she will glide the streets again in daylight.
Madbones Senior has risen to the challenge "excuse the pun" and we have another aircooled wanna be in the fold.
Just wanted you all to know The Slut will recover and has finally found a loving home.

Update on a donor for The Slut.
Found a perfect mate "Yellow Peril" painted with PVA and brush lovely.
Rotten like hell but underneath very nice indeed.
Let the transplant begin.

Update, she will frequent the streets again no matter what.
So she's going through major surgery right now, bit of a lift, cut and tuck. She will be going through a gender change
The surgeon "Dr.Bugger" is hard at work and I was hoping he might send us some pics?
So the project is progressing and we hope to share more with you soon.
Bye
