This afternoon the Scoob bug got shuffled into a new position in my shop. It is now ready for its trailer ride tomorrow.

Pine you nearly right. There is no way Tom Bishop will give Combustion King the scoob motor.

The way im builting on the Sue Brew bug, it looks like it could well become a retirement project.
Pine, The Scoob bug, Motor and All, is going to my Dads house. I need the space at my shop to rebuild the Big Toe Bug for my son.
Keep posted for this weekends shuffle.

On Saturday my Little Kubel amazed me once again.
Just as I pulled my Big Bakkie out to go fetch the trailer to do the big Buggy swop, it started raining and the Bakkies wipers failed to work.
It was 3:30 and the trailer hiring company was closing at 4. The only alternative was to let the 181 stand in as tow car.
The 181 really stepped up to the job. The car handled the trailer with Big Toe on it very well. There was very little pull from the Trailer and the Drum Brakes coped more than adequately . The motor was on the wanting side and I battled to take off on a hill. I swear I could hear the 181 chanting. "I can do this, I can do this.
Big Toe catching a lift from my house. Arriving at my shop safely. The Scoob Bug got lifted to the Folks Place.
Scoobs Bugs new home for a while. Its got company with a '46 Plymouth.
Big Toes Canopy getting removed. Last pic of the dash before its dismantled. And the canopy removed.

Finally got the body separated from the chassis. I must say this was a well built bug. (pat pat)
Wind Screen removed.
and Roll cage removed.
After this BigToe was carried off to meet its new running gear.
This is more or less how it will look when finished. I want to drop the body 1" or so but need to find the space or the inside will be cramped.
