Can't remeber what it's called,but it's build on a Golf chassis.

Yes it's fb,but a complete body like a Golf and not bakkie.There are quite a few of them around in these parts.

Erm... A Golf doesn't have a chassis, which I mention here not to argue with Chris, but to point out that this makes that car/thing all the more interesting. Could it be a fibre glass monocoque?

It is a fibre glass monocoque with a steel chassis where all the Golf bits bolt onto i.e. the front and rear suspension,windscreen,lights,seats,engine and gearbox.

Basically it's a fibre glass Golf.

And btw,before anyone says the windscreen doesn't "bolt on",I know. :mrgreen:

They use to call it a SPRINGBOK those days , if it is its right name i dont know.
