It is a fibre glass monocoque with a steel chassis where all the Golf bits bolt onto i.e. the front and rear suspension,windscreen,lights,seats,engine and gearbox.
Basically it's a fibre glass Golf.
And btw,before anyone says the windscreen doesn't "bolt on",I know.
