I love Alfas.....my first car was an Alfa.....and Alfasud! Always wanted to restore one but they have all rusted to death :cry: :lol:

Subsequent to following this http://www.aircooledvwsa.co.za/viewtopi ... lit=domain, I thought I should make it clear that the red Giulia is mine, while the blue + white Alfa was found on the public domain!! I do however run a pair of Dellortos on my 1300 Super :hangloose:

Nice Guilia! 1300ti? I used to have one just like it, fitted with a 2.0 litre. That is one of the nice things with these Alfas, all the engines from 1300 to 2000 are externally identical and upgrades are a simple straight swop.

Fitting twin sidedraughts is also straight forward as 90% of these cars came standard with these carbs. Only a handful of the 1300's had a single carb.

Sorry to those who asked questions, I didn't see till now. I'm in Dbn, they could probably be made to fit a beetle but I probably wouldn't on purpose.
Life begins at 80 and ends shortly after in a temporary court on the side of the road.
