The mail responce I got was the people complained about the price to high and Brendan canned this project to import bumpers.

BS, if those bumpers were twice the price you would see them around.I inquired a few years back on a set for a 60's beetle can't remember exact price but they were like 5x the price of a VS item.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......

5 x is ALOT more...maybe thats why they didnt do it, if its 2 x it aint that bad, but 5 x is hectic...calooker wrote:

The SS bumpers are good quality but at approx 5x normal price - too much for us in SA.
"TSW" and "Street Rod" should not be used in the same sentence! - Barry

Wouldn't a fully restored FLEETLINE cost R17k? Kinda wouldn't make sense to spend the same amount on bumpers!
