The windows are in, the windows are in, hurrah, hurrah, the windows are in!

Bugz does not have the 58 quarter windows anymore  but I doubt the windows are the problem, its kaka's kaka rubber.... imho

Bugger, I will come visit you for my new window rubber fitment then :-), got some WW items from calooker, oh, and to keep it interesting, with the original deluxe chrome trim :hangloose:

Looking good DSAN!!

First drive with the car and what a bloody comedy moment.

Issue 1: Slight mis-fire. Ok not serious but it sounds bloody horrible, will need to work out why
Issue 2: I think I put the bumpers on the wrong way, the rear bangs on the exhaust (is it long bracket at the back, short at the front?)
Issue 3: Lost 3rd/4th due to me not being able to select them, hahahaha. I need to adjust the new gear knob we put in yesterday
Issue 4: Interior people lost my drivers door clips for the cover, so need to get new ones

Other than that, massive smile on my face....

Took me a while to sort out the carb, it's practically knackered so need to get a replacement soon(ish), anyone have any spare carbs handy that aren't stuffed?

It's off to COR tomorrow, after me getting the jack, triangle and other bits needed for COR today.

"Your window isn't smooth when winding down. I need to fail this car, it is not safe"

you sir, are a 4 letter word beginning with a C and sounding like can't. They will happily allow taxi's to drive on the roads here, with little or no safety on them, allow truck drivers to drive 20+ hours, yet a window winder mechanism has to be smooth otherwise all hell breaks loose.

Africa: we have it!

Decided to make the rear snowflakes much brighter by removing the filter. Have no idea why this was originally there, as light just doesn't pass through it, the end result is so much better:

Lol, not too laugh at you, but I was awaiting a reply regarding the C.O.R.. Durbz test stations are hell holes. So was it just the windo winders or anything else? which station did you use? Ive heard stories of ummm having a R200 slightly peeking outta the ashtray making window winders work just fine.. (i mean its just stories not that I actually did that with my old car at the test station near the market wink wink.)

not the brown one, that's just a reference of the lowering/narrowing that will take place.

the colour of mine is more red, will get some proper shots once the final polish is done as it's really dull in some areas.

Oh yes, she is fully fit to join the rest of the road users:

Image

Whilst waiting for her new tags, looking all good in the sun

Some small things to do, she rides pretty bumpy up front. I think it could be to do with those bloody gabriel heavy duty shocks that tiger wankers and tire added, but will have to wait until i get the narrowed beams before i buy new ones.

Other than that, happy as a pig in the proverbial
