I know of a decent '60 going for 6k that is perfect for a project car. No papers, but that really isn't an issue (car not stolen just abandoned)

it all depends on what your budget is. For anything less than a 60, don't kid yourself and think you will find one for 2k, it's just not realistic. PM me if you want the details of this bug

I'd like a 356 mate, but realise they are pretty rare and with rarity comes cost.

5k for a 50's beetle, that doesn't require a complete strip down and about 60k spent on it, is rare. Get real, come on!

On ebay you can get a model kit for that money :lol: You can then build it, paint it and play with it. Might not be able to sit in it mind!

This thread has existed from 2008 :shock:
Beetle Bodies x 2. Both for restoration. 1 x 1965 model, complete original cond, a bit of rust. With papers, silence up to date. Another, about same yaer model, 95% complete, but not as original. No engines. Perfect vintage restore project. Call Jaco

This bug for R5000 no engine and alot of work. Its a `59. What do you guys think should I offer?
