Hot VW magazines

Post by Watercool »

I have been looking at the Hot VW mags, and wondered how many of you guys has subscribe to this mag. I went to their web sight and the foreign subscibtion and it is $40.00 a year. Now I have thought if there is enough interest I could try and see if they would give discount on bulk orders.

I buy the Ultra VW and Volksworld magazines every month. Haven't seen a Hot VW mag on the bookstore shelves in a long time. I would also be interested in a subscribtion.....

I used to subscribe to hot VWs but found that the mag gets pretty boring after a while. More ads than any thing else. My opinion anyway.
I subscribed thru their website and never had a single issue receiving the mags, 100% delivery, I was very very happy with them.

I agree with Tony Z

Just my 5c...

A friend from Pennsylvania sent me Hot Vw's for Jan and Feb 2009, but there are so many adverts in the magazine, you literally need to look for the 4 or 5 articles or features. Also, I noticed that they put the adverts in the front of the magazine and the articles and features much later. It looks more like VW advertorials which feature some VW articles and features.

A definite miss from me!

I've noticed the same thing.

I will be subscribing to UltraVw as soon as I have some spare cash. Will see about HotVWs later in the year :)

You never know, some guys might be interested. I was just putting my opinion out.
For those that want to learn about performance bugs, HOTVWs is a great mag!!! The good thing about those adverts is that some shops advertise 3 or 4 pages with practically their whole catalog and some write-ups. You can read the articles and cross referance many parts and ideas to the ads or tech pages.

Thanks a lot Tony Z,

Your narrow-mined views have ruined the bulk subscription for everyone!!
