Maybe that will be the Notch at Jurgens Technical day...? A bit too soon maybe? Something to chat to Jurgen about.

OK Frank, but I would need the money up front - and it wouldn't be R1000................

Retrovan, really nice work on the dashes!!
Are you likely to do another run in future? And would you want to have them featured in a magazine? Let me know.

Even better, let me know of a good Type 3 to feature with one of these in!!
Hi youall,
Just fixing the few small issues on the dash mould, as there are a few imperfections, but will be able to run off up to approx 1000 units mould live, if there is a demand for it??
By all means, you may run it in a mag., once the units come of the production.
May have to use Other fasty, as mine will not be ready for some time. Maybe some one that takes the 1st units ???

Hi All,
Been working with workshop to address the changes on the dash mould today.
Should be done with in a day or two.
Have tested it into the car for figment, and had no problem, :D :D fitted right in
Addressing the few bumps that were on the mounting line, and rounding the clocks base seats.
Let you know right here .....

Looked into it, not worth my while as I will be making zero profit on this and with the amount that needs to be outlayed, I need something to make it worth my while

Having many years of aircooledvw blood running thru my veins, many lessons have been learnt and one is that making money to keep the passion alive is not what it's about, it is more of a satisfaction being able to help a fellow aircooledvw nut with either manual labour, info or even zero proffit on a item rather thinking of how much money there is to be made.
I'm sure there are others that can relate to this.
Retrovan, hat off to your efforts.

"The concept of Restoration, is to leave something behind, for others to enjoy, as you have enjoyed to restore it." (Retro Van 2011)
Because for every part that is unobtainable, another car goes to the scrap yard, so although we replace some parts with new, we keep the majority of the car, as well as its looks, and memory's alive............and here enddith the scripture...

Thanks Calooker, we will try.
