Does anyone have more pics and info on that Bay? I think that it was a magazine feature?

Re: My 57 and 59 Beetles
Karmakoma asked me to post some pictures of the interior of the 57. Here they are.
The car is still completely original. Would like to fit a new headliner, but are to scared of a botched job.

Re: My 57 and 59 Beetles
For an original OVAL that interior is still in excellent nick.
Thanks for the pictures. Same carpet and headliner as my car, but in much better shape!
You got to love the OVAL dash.
Nice background through the driver side windows
Dont blame you for being too scared to touch that headliner. it is all still in one piece - wow actually. Dont know how that survived all these years. Please tell me that is not the original paint on the car as well, come to think of it

Re: My 57 and 59 Beetles
Thanks Karmakoma,
Unfortunately the car has been painted outside. The car was painted in the late seventies, and that was not a good job. When I bought the car in the mid nineties, I repainted it as I stayed in Richardsbay at that stage. The car was only at the sea for about two years when we moved back to Gauteng, but were always garaged, as it is now. The inside is still original.

Thanks for a decent answer Rudi...unlike Zero's answer..
Kinda hope one could get a idea of what a reasonable price would be should something like that come to offer... or should one calculate in Pounds???
