My 78 bus

Post by Ibraheem »

Hi all!

Meet Surf Joy, this is my first project (Have her just over a month now) and so far I've been trying to get the engine sorted, she's running but has a carb recon on the cards. This is a 2l type 4 motor that I would love to get as close to original as possible and need help sourcing parts. I bought her painted but not the best of jobs, looks like they used quite abit of filler but she'll have to stay this way for now. I added eyelids and white wall inserts, she now looks like she's ready to take the crew surfing! Well with Ramadaan having started it'll be a month until we hit the waves and I'm trying to get her ready by then. Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ibraheem

Thanks all!

I think Im going to change the ride height, the front is just too high for me. You guys think dropped spindles is the best way to go? Anyone have a set to sell or know where I can get?
