Yes very similar to a particular hubcab that the Valiants used ...

Are you going to have "Jurgens Autovilla" decals made up ?

There is a long weekend coming up at the end of the month. Keen to go camping somewhere? Im thinking of going to a place just next to the monkey sanctuary in Haarties.

For comparison, here's what Skilpad looked like when I first acquired her:

I'm not sure. I like the look without them, but I do like the original Jurgens Autovilla decal that was hidden behind the spare wheel on the nose, especially the gold foil finish. If I do anything it will probably be a pair of those for the doors. By the looks of it the Jurgens decals that were on the nose and the rear were not original to the bus, as they look like the later style. I may also repro the swoosh decals for the front and rear, but I'm in no hurry.

Hi Fig, the villa is really looking great, the color combo is well made decision.

I am in the process of also getting hold of a jurgens which has also been standing on a farm under roof for a good 8 years or so.
I would like to ask when you took her to Caravan Academy in Krugersdorp, how long was your villa there with all the work they did.

Reason i ask is I have a far way to drive and would need to make a plan depending on the period it takes.

Again great restoration, if you could add more pics of the interior, i would be interested in seeing them

John

Anyone?

Also, can someone please post a picture of the table dropped to accommodate the double bed? It seems my table is too wide to fit between the 2 benches?
