Mathew will not know as it is by me still

The ring gear was damaged and with the new starter it gave up the ghost
So I will be removing the motor this week and change the Fly wheel

I did drove the Bug 2 weekends ago around on the highways to check cooling and temps and all was very well behaved but the 215 kombi Clutch does not like the added power so I have in the mean while sent in a different 215 flywheel and pressure plate to have a copper clutch made for it so when I remove the motor then I have the new flywheel setup ready to fit straight back in and get this bug to Mathew as he was very patient with the build

as I explained to him I rather keep the car longer by me and sort all gremlins as marry the bug as it keeps comming back for niggly unnesare things that could have been sorted firs time

Mathew he is amper daar oom :hangloose:

Every body that see your bug loves it and just gives it compliments and when I open the deck lid they are stunned at what is in side as the 2 dummy exhaust pipes makes your bug looks like just a very nice looking beetle motor bug HEHEHEHE you are going to have fun with this oukie

That's great news Pierre. I'm really looking forward to getting it back. It's been a long build. Would rather it be a long slow involved install than have a "slapgat" 2 week job.

I know my car is in good hands.

As to the car being a sleeper, I really think it could be.

Can't wait to show those city golf bliksems!

City Golf :?:
Aiming a bit low there!
Would love to see the Bug smoke a BMW!
Now that would be priceless!

Just be careful that the bliksem in the Golf doesn't have an ABF 16 Valve in there

Racing on the streets is not cool!

We definitely will not be racing! (probably)

Haha.

Deon told me 13b beetles causes the driver to grow horns.

Will just have to wait and see!
